We're seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team at Blue Water Engineering. As a full-time CNC Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts at our Molendinar, QLD facility. This is a hands-on, technical role that plays a crucial part in our engineering operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts as per engineering specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up machines and programs
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify process improvements
- Maintain detailed production records and logs
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, programming, and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work area
- Good communication and teamwork skills
