Lead the launch of Australia's first single-estate agave destination.
SOLLOS Estate is 345 hectares of Blue Weber Agave at Bowen, in the Whitsundays - the home of Australia's first single-estate agave spirit.
Our cellar door, tours and tasting experiences are about to open, and we're looking for a Venue & Hospitality Manager to launch them and run them.
This is a build-it-yourself role, not a caretaker one. You'll shape the culture, the systems, the guest experience and the commercial performance.
What you'll do
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the cellar door across tastings, tours, retail and events
- Own venue performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, visitation and spend per guest
- Plan and execute the continued development of the cellar door and visitor experience
- Recruit, train and lead a high-performing hospitality team, including bar and events staff
- Drive revenue growth and identify opportunities to increase visitation and overall commercial performance
- Develop new tastings, experiences, events and programming aligned with the SOLLOS brand
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns, partnerships, activations and tourism initiatives
- Build strong relationships with Tourism Whitsundays, local operators, hotels and tourism partners
- Ensure compliance across liquor licensing, food safety, WHS and other venue requirements
- Deliver a consistent, premium brand and guest experience at every touchpoint
- Represent SOLLOS Estate within the local tourism and hospitality community
