We are currently seeking experienced TIG /Pipe Welders for an immediate start with a well-established and growing manufacturing client based in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs.
These ongoing casual positions offer an attractive $60 per hour, working Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm, with regular overtime available and an early finish every Friday. You'll be joining a highly skilled and supportive team of Welders, Polishers, and Machinists, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role with a respected and innovative manufacturing business.
About the Role:
- TIG welding on stainless steel components and equipment
- Performing purge welding and sanitary welding to a high standard
- Polishing and finishing completed welds and fabrication work
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Working collaboratively within a team of welders, polishers, and
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Previous experience with Purge welding and Sanitary welding
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Experience polishing and finishing stainless steel welds
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Reliable attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
