About the role
We’re looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our APAC HR team in Brisbane.
Working closely with the HR Manager APAC, you’ll support employees and managers across Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.
This is a broad, hands‑on role covering recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, payroll coordination, employee documentation, reporting and WHS.
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your responsibilities, work across a varied range of HR activities and contribute to the effective day‑to‑day operation of the APAC HR function.
- What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate recruitment from advertising through to offer and commencement
- Manage onboarding and offboarding activities and support a positive employee experience
- Prepare employment contracts, variations, salary letters and other HR correspondence
- Maintain accurate employee records across Bamboo HR, ADP and other HR systems
- Coordinate payroll changes including new starters, terminations, salary changes, allowances and leave
- Respond to day‑to‑day HR enquiries from employees and managers
- Prepare HR reports and workforce data
- Support remuneration reviews, employee engagement activities and other HR initiatives
- Assist with WHS administration, reporting and record keeping
- Identify practical opportunities to improve HR systems and processes.
About you
You’re an experienced HR Administrator or HR Coordinator who’s ready to take on a broader role.
You’re organised, approachable and reliable, with strong attention to detail.
You take ownership of your work, anticipate what needs attention and follow tasks through to completion.
You enjoy working with people, but you’re equally comfortable with the detail of HR systems, documentation and reporting.
You’ll ideally have
- 2+ years’ experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, People & Culture or similar role
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
- Experience supporting recruitment and employee lifecycle processes
- Experience using an HRIS and working with payroll information
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Good judgement when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience with Bamboo HR, ADP, WHS administration or multi-country HR operations would be an advantage.
