This Delivery Manager role comes with real authority and a leader good humans want to work for. The business is a family-owned agribusiness, founded in the 1700s and now run by the seventh generation of the founding family. It’s partway through a multi-year transformation on Microsoft, and the groundwork is done. The CRM has just moved from Salesforce to Dynamics 365 Sales, governance is in place, and a Digital Adoption Lead is making sure people use what gets delivered. Your job is to turn a steady stream of business requests into predictable, regular releases.
You’ll report to the Head of ICT ANZ. He’s approachable, responsive and a clear communicator, and he’s a calculated, deep thinker who is also good fun to work with. His team respects him, and the proof is in the numbers: turnover is low. People who join him tend to stay.
The role involves:
- Running the pipeline for ERP (D365 Finance and Operations), CRM (D365 Sales), BI and AI: intake, prioritisation, scheduling and release.
- Keeping the support queue and planned work in balance.
- Chairing the ERP, CRM and Data working groups and reporting to the Steering Committee.
- Holding partners to scope, budget and schedule: statements of work, change requests, and timesheets checked against invoices.
You’ll be shortlisted if you have:
- Around 10 years leading business systems delivery as a Delivery Manager, Service Delivery Manager or senior project manager.
- Delivered Dynamics 365 and know it well enough to challenge a partner’s scope and estimate without configuring it yourself. Finance and Operations is preferred, and Sales is valued.
- Run continuous releases and an ITSM queue side by side.
- Managed vendors with full budget accountability.
- Got senior people to agree on priorities when none of them reported to you.
- A habit of getting to the point. Updates here go to a Steering Committee of non-technical leaders, so they need to be short and plain.
- Agriculture, manufacturing or supply chain experience, Power Platform exposure, or delivery across Australia and New Zealand is a bonus.
The detail:
- Fortitude Valley office, five days a week for your first six months. After that it’s hybrid: Tuesday to Thursday in the office, and Monday and Friday at home.
- Circa $200k package plus discretionary bonus.
- Some travel to Australian and New Zealand sites, including an induction trip in your first month.
- Permanent, starting early 2027.
- Australian working rights required.
