They're now looking for an experienced full-time Senior Baker to join the team. This is a hands-on role where you'll get stuck into the baking and production while helping keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly, supporting and motivating the team, and keeping food safety, WHS and compliance on track.

- Plan and manage weekly production schedules to ensure orders are completed on time.
- Prepare, mix, shape and bake a range of bakery products to meet quality standards.
- Organise daily staff tasks, rosters and staffing levels to keep production running smoothly.
- Train, support and motivate staff, creating a positive team environment.
- Manage stock levels, ingredients, packaging and wholesale orders.
- Monitor product quality and ensure recipes and production standards are followed.
- Follow food safety, HACCP and WHS requirements and maintain all required records and paperwork.
- Identify and report any quality, food safety or workplace safety issues.
- Look for ways to reduce waste, improve processes and make production more efficient.
- Keep equipment and production areas clean, organised and safe.
- Assist with developing new products and work with the sales team and distributors to meet customer needs.
Skills and Experience
You will have a qualification or experience as a Baker and/or Pastry Chef, along with previous leadership experience within the commercial bakery or food manufacturing environment. You'll also have basic computer skills and either experience using, or a willingness to learn, inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of food safety requirements, HACCP principles and workplace health and safety practices.
- Experience maintaining food safety and WHS documentation and records.
- Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet production deadlines.
