An excellent opportunity exists for experiencedMaintenance Fittersto join a leading industrial manufacturing operation in the Bendigo region. We are currently seeking tradespeople fortwo permanent shift options:
Afternoon Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Friday: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- 15% shift loading
- 38-hour work week
Permanent Night Shift
- Monday to Friday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- 30% shift loading
- Overtime opportunities available
Working within a large-scale manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of automated production equipment, conveyors, material handling systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rollers, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment critical to ongoing production.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimise downtime
- Service, repair and overhaul plant machinery and production equipment
- Maintain conveyors, drives, pumps, rollers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
- Maintain high safety, quality and housekeeping standards
About You To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent
- Experience within manufacturing, processing, packaging or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise maintenance requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Desirable Experience
- CMMS experience (MEX, SAP PM, Maximo, Pronto or similar)
- Automated production line maintenance
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience
- Welding and fabrication skills
