We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the maintenance team of a leading food manufacturing business based in Dandenong. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment, solving complex electrical faults and keeping high-speed manufacturing equipment operating at its best.
The Role
- Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and breakdown response across production equipment
- Diagnosing electrical, control and automation faults
- Working with motors, sensors, VSDs, PLCs and control systems
- Electrical repairs, modifications and equipment upgrades
- Completing maintenance records and using the site’s CMMS
- Working closely with mechanical maintenance and production teams
- Maintaining a strong focus on electrical safety and food manufacturing standards
About You
We are looking for a trade-qualified Electrician with strong industrial maintenance experience. You will ideally have:
- Current Victorian Electrical Licence
- Previous experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with motors, sensors, VSDs and control systems
- PLC fault-finding experience highly regarded
- Experience working in FMCG or food manufacturing highly regarded
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
