We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing maintenance team within a leading food manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled fitter looking for stability, consistent hours and a long-term career with a company that genuinely values its people.
The Opportunity:
- Working Monday to Friday on a 6:00am - 2:00pm day shift, you will play a key role in keeping a busy food manufacturing facility running efficiently.
- You'll join a well-established maintenance team with strong tenure, meaning you'll be surrounded by experienced tradespeople who know the site, support each other and take pride in keeping the operation running.
- The role will involve a combination of preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement across a range of production and packaging equipment.

About You:
We're looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will ideally have:
- Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner trade qualification
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or industrial manufacturing
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
- A proactive approach to maintenance and reliability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit maintenance team
