Bittn is on track to triple over three years, and we're adding five licensed pest and termite technicians across South East Queensland to keep up. Each one gets a local patch, a career ladder they can actually see, and a business that's still Australian-owned and run by the person who started it. Bring your licence. We'll bring the work, close to home.
Why this job
- Work local. Your own patch, close to home. Our growth and our routing technology mean less time in traffic and more time doing the job properly.
- A career you can see. Advanced and Senior Technician stages, Pest Management Field Trainer, Field Service Area Supervisor, senior technical supervision, then a sales path or a leadership and operations path.
- Australian-owned and founder-led. Decisions get made here in South East Queensland by the person who started the business in 2013, not by a multinational company with a head office overseas.
- Your work counts. Reports are done in paid time, customer feedback comes back to you in real time, and good work gets noticed, from the leaderboard to our monthly MVP awards.
What your day looks like
Your patch is Ipswich and surrounds, out to Springfield, Goodna and Redbank Plains. Not an hour on the Ipswich Motorway every morning.
You'll run your own day from a stocked van: general pest and termite inspections and treatments for homes, strata complexes, rentals, lifestyle communities and businesses across your patch. More customers now book and pay online, with the job sized and matched to the right technician up front, so work turns up properly scoped. You'll explain what you found at the door, document it before you drive off, and finish your reports on the clock, not at the kitchen table.
Some of it is physical: roof voids, subfloors and Queensland summers are part of the deal. If you like real work, done properly, in your own patch, this is it.
Who we're looking for
- A current pest management licence covering general pest and timber pest. Licensed interstate and keen on Queensland? Talk to us.
- Habits you're proud of: you turn up, you do it properly, and your reports make sense to whoever reads them next.
- A good manner with customers: you can explain a termite risk in plain English without scaring anyone.
- A current open driver's licence and fitness for physical work.
- Already training techs or leading a team? Tell us. The ladder goes further.

We're growing across construction, strata, property management and lifestyle communities, more customers are booking online, and we keep investing in the technology behind it, from route optimisation to property data. Bugs haven't gotten smarter. But we have. It's smarter, safer science.
