At Brisbane Post and Beams we are proud to say we have over 30 years in the industry and have built a reputation for providing high-quality products and friendly professional service. We specialise in providing steel house columns, steel beams, fabrication, cut steel and steel stringers for the domestic building and renovating markets and are actively searching for a new Customer Service Representative to be a part of our growing team!
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and front counter, responding promptly to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Assess customer needs and provide accurate information, materials, drawings and supply quotes and/ or cost estimates.
- Use negotiation and sales skills to convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Create job cards for approved quotes and support the scheduling process.
- Participation in sales and toolbox meetings.
- Communicate with other sales members, estimators, fabrication and administration teams to ensure orders remain on schedule and all required information is accurately recorded in internal systems.

Successful applicants will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position in the steel or building industry is highly desirable
- Sound understanding of the sales-to-production workflow process
- Eagerness to learn internal systems
- Strong communication skills and technical skills across the Microsoft suite including Excel
- High attention to detail and strong problem solving
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have full working rights in Australia
