As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you'll play an important role in creating a warm and memorable Binna Burra experience – from the initial reservation enquiry through to arrival, their stay with us and departure. What you'll be doing:

  • Managing guest check-ins, check-outs and accommodation reservations.
  • Responding to telephone, email and online booking enquiries.
  • Providing guests with information about accommodation, dining, activities and experiences available at Binna Burra.
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest accounts and reservation records.
  • Managing room availability, booking changes, cancellations and special guest requirements.
  • Liaising with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Responding professionally to guest requests, feedback and concerns.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote accommodation, dining and other Binna Burra experiences.
  • Supporting the Front Office and Reservations team with general administrative and operational duties.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous Reception, Reservations or Front Office experience within a hotel, resort or accommodation business – essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Experience using hotel reservation or Property Management Systems – previous NewBook experience will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate reservations and guest information.
  • Confidence communicating with guests by telephone, email and face‑to‑face.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A positive, professional and solutions‑focused approach.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider resort team.
  • Flexibility to work across a hospitality roster including weekends and public holidays.

Why join Binna Burra now?

  • Be part of the team opening and establishing our new Lodge and guest facilities.
  • Work in an extraordinary rainforest setting surrounded by Lamington National Park.
  • Join a well‑established tourism destination with more than 90 years of history.
  • Work across both Reception and Reservations and continue developing your hotel and resort experience.
  • Be part of a supportive team focused on genuine, personalised guest service.
  • Build your skills and career as our accommodation and hospitality operations continue to grow.
  • Enjoy staff benefits and discounts across selected Binna Burra experiences and services.
