Austral Ag is looking for a friendly, motivated and hardworking Warehouse Storeperson to join our busy Toowoomba team on a full-time basis. We're after someone with a great attitude, plenty of energy and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. About Us
Austral Ag is a growing independent agricultural supplies business specialising in stock water, animal health, fencing, feed, horticulture and much more. We're part of the long-established, family-owned Bilba Group, which also operates Northern Stock Water across Queensland and the Northern Territory. Our Toowoomba operation is growing, and we're looking for another great person to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Processing and labelling orders ready for dispatch or customer collection
- Receiving deliveries, checking incoming stock and putting products away
- Loading and unloading deliveries and assisting with stock movements
- Replenishing shelves and maintaining stock presentation
- Assisting with stocktakes and general inventory control
- Keeping the warehouse, yard and work areas clean, safe and organised
- Working closely with our warehouse, sales and customer service teams to ensure orders are completed on time
- Helping out wherever needed to keep things running smoothly!
What We're Looking For
- A friendly, outgoing personality and a positive, can-do attitude
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
- Reliability, punctuality and a genuine desire to be part of a team
- Great attention to detail and pride in doing things properly
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good communication skills and a willingness to help others
- Physical fitness and the ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting at least 20kg
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Previous warehouse, picking and packing or stock handling experience (preferred but not essential)
- A forklift licence (highly regarded, but not essential)
- Agricultural product knowledge would be a bonus, but it's certainly not a requirement.
