Big Rock Brewing is looking for a chef to take the reins of our brand-new brewery kitchen.
We're an independent craft brewery in the Rockhampton CBD launching our new kitchen.
The concept is simple: great smoked food, gourmet burgers and sandwiches, wings, ribs and proper beer food, done really well.
We're not looking to build a huge, complicated restaurant menu.
We want a chef who can help us keep the menu tight, consistent and profitable while putting their own stamp on it.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing smoked meats including brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausages and chicken wings
- Prep, ordering, stock control and food safety
- Helping refine and develop the menu
- Catering for functions and events of up to 150 people
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen and keeping service, prep and production organised
