Senior Power Platform & Agentic AI Consultant
$165K–$170K | Permanent | Remote, Sydney based
Building AI agents is one thing. Delivering solutions that work in the real world is
another.
We are partnering with an established Microsoft partner specialising in data, analytics and AI
to find a Senior Power Platform & Agentic AI Consultant.
This is an opportunity for a hands‐on technical professional who can combine agentic AI
delivery with strong application engineering, solution design and client consulting.
You will work with private‐sector and government organisations to understand business
challenges, design practical solutions and take them from discovery through to delivery. The
focus is on building useful, governed solutions that solve real problems, not simply
experimenting with AI tools.
What you'll be doing:
- Design, build and deliver agentic AI solutions that address real business requirements.
- Work with uncertainty in agent‐driven workflows, applying appropriate controls, validation and human oversight where required.
- Lead client discovery, clarify requirements and translate business needs into technical designs.
- Design Dataverse data models and build business applications using model‐driven apps and Power Apps code apps.
- Develop workflow automation with Power Automate and customer‐facing
- Apply appropriate governance across Power Platform and AI solutions.
- Manage delivery considerations including scope, time, budget, risks and stakeholder
- Communicate technical decisions clearly and take ownership of the solution lifecycle.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrable experience delivering agentic AI solutions. This is a threshold requirement, not simply a bonus.
- Strong Power Platform engineering and solution design capability.
- Experience with Dataverse, model‐driven apps and Power Apps.
- The ability to work directly with clients, lead requirements discussions and manage
- An understanding of governance, risk and the practical challenges of putting AI‐enabled solutions into production.
- Strong delivery ownership, problem‐solving skills and sound technical judgement.
- Experience with Power Automate, Power Pages code sites and Power Apps code apps is highly relevant to the technical environment.
- Power BI experience is beneficial, but not essential.
