BG Private Sydney is a small, friendly accounting firm located in the heart of Sydney CBD. We cater to a diverse clientele, from SMEs to local branches of global corporations.
The role
You will be playing an integral role in delivering tax compliance and accounting services to our diverse client base including a number of overseas companies with businesses operating in Australia. Work will initially focus on accounting and BAS services to our clients. This is a critical step in forming your business and accounting knowledge. But soon you will also be working on the preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSF.
In our team we need everyone to have direct contact with clients, so excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You are also willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done - whether it's the washing up, a trip to Officeworks or delivering a parcel to a client. Due to the size of the team and the profile of the clients you will have direct daily access to the director who has managed the business for over 25 years.
The ideal applicant
Ideally you are degree qualified and seeking to become a CA or CPA. You have ambition, are seeking to develop yourself from the ground up and have a "can do" attitude. Excellent written and verbal skills.
Hours of work
8.45am to 5.15pm
Remuneration
Market rate based on qualifications and experience.
