Southport Metro Doctors is looking for a medical receptionist to join our front desk team. We’re a busy, well established GP practice in the heart of Southport. Our patients come from all walks of life and most of them know our reception staff by name. If you like being the friendly face people see when they walk in, and you’re the sort of person who can keep ten things moving without losing your cool, we’d love to hear from you.
What the job actually involves:
- Greeting patients and getting them checked in
- Answering the phones and managing bookings
- Processing Medicare and private billing
- Keeping the doctors’ days running smoothly
- Being the glue that holds the front of the practice together
