We have expanded our manufacturing capabilities and are looking for a CNC ROUTER OPERATOR! We are an award-winning sign manufacturer based in Keysborough, who has been in business since 1952, so you can feel very secure in making your move to this growing dynamic company.
We are a leading signage manufacturer looking for a self-motivated and results driven tradesperson to support our team in the role of a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator. We are looking for someone to join our team in a full-time capacity.
Proven competence and several years of experience in CNC machine setting and operating in the corporate signage industry is essential. Further experience with Multi Cam machines would be advantageous but not essential. Above award wages, penalty rates, RDOs, and overtime when needed.
As the CNC/Router Operator you would be responsible for:
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings
- Follow directions given to you by the Supervisor
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change organisational priorities and problem-solving
- An understanding of signage or similar would be advantageous
About you: Coming from a previous role where you have operated a similar machine, you may have been exposed to the signage, building, or steel industries. You will possess some or most of the following:
- Prior machine operating experience within the corporate signage industry
- CNC experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
