Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for the clinical, operational, and professional leadership of our ultrasound modality.
Key responsibilities include
- Lead the Ultrasound modality across Benson Radiology, driving high-quality, efficient and patient-centred services.
- Support, coach and develop sonography teams to build capability, performance and engagement.
- Plan workforce, resources, workflows and equipment use to meet operational and service needs.
- Contribute to service improvements, compliance, growth initiatives and better outcomes for patients, referrers and the business.
- Engage with industry bodies and leading technology providers to ensure Benson Radiology remains at the forefront of all things ultrasound practice and innovation.

We are looking for an experienced, values-driven leader who combines strong clinical knowledge with confident people leadership and sound operational judgement.
- Accredited Medical Sonographer with current ASAR registration.
- Proven leadership experience in sonography, medical imaging or a comparable healthcare environment.
- A professional, approachable and solutions-focused leadership style.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with teams, Radiologists, referrers and external partners.
- A commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement and developing future sonography capability.
