Outside School Hours Care - (OSHC) Educator

What We're Searching For
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join and lead our dynamic OSHC team.
In this role, you will engage with children before and after school through age-appropriate activities, support their routines, and ensure their overall well-being and safety.

What this position looks like
Full time OR Permanent Part Time.
OSHCEducator/Coordinator shifts are flexible and allow more time for study, family or fun providing a greater work life balance.
This position is Monday to Friday with afternoon / morning split shifts such as 6:30AM - 10:00AM and/or 2:30pm-6:30pm with the option to add on hours as they become available and over Vacation Care periods.
Essential Criteria/Key Resonsibilities needed
- Hold a current Certificate III and or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA.
We may consider applicants that are working towards these qualifications, as well as a Bachelor of Education.
- Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card
- Current CPR Certificate and Senior First Aid (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
- New Child Safety (GECKO) Training Completed (prior to starting)
- High level of communication skills and the ability and willingness to work across all age groups.
- Uphold regulatory requirements according to the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, delivering exceptional education and care.
- To be able to build strong relationships with families and colleagues to understand and accommodate each child's needs and preferences.
- To be able to foster positive behaviours and social skills by encouraging independence, exploration, and problem-solving in a nurturing environment.
- To be able to confidently Lead and mentor fellow educators, creating a safe, clean, and healthy setting
- To be able to complete documentation in a professional, consistent and timely manner.
- To be able to confidently supervise and engage with children
