If you enjoy a mix of technical delivery, project coordination, and supporting others, this is a great opportunity to build your leadership skills in a supportive and well-established team.

We work as one, collaborating across teams to achieve shared success. We innovate boldly, embracing smarter ways of working and progressive thinking. We lead with integrity, acting with accountability, transparency and respect. Above all, we deliver excellence, taking pride in our work and the impact that it creates.

Your Role and Impact:

  • Manage project resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and internal business units to ensure seamless integration of processes, technologies, and training.
  • Coordinate Toowoomba-based staff across regional and FIFO/DIDO operations, including Snowy 2.0 and Coal Seam Gas projects.
  • Work closely with other Survey Managers supporting teams in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast.
  • Oversee workforce rostering, travel arrangements, and logistical planning for employees working on major project sites.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to survey staff to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear, consistent communication.
  • Review the progress and performance of project teams across the division, assisting Site Survey Managers in resource identification and improvements to delivery systems.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Surveying; registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (or another state) highly regarded.
  • Strong 12d model knowledge is essential, with broader experience using Trimble and Leica survey equipment highly regarded.
  • 10+ years’ experience in range of surveying activities within the Surveying Industry.
  • Proficient with range of surveying equipment, sound understanding of methodologies concerning surveying and competency in a range of surveying software packages.
  • Knowledge of Machine Control Systems and model generation is preferred.
