As our Lodge Chef, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests. This is a casual role or part-time with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to work in a close-knit team in a beautiful coastal setting.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes from our seasonal and locally-sourced menu
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new and innovative menu items
- Maintain a clean and well-organised kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years' experience as a chef in a similar high-end hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Passion for using fresh, seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and requests
