We are seeking a confident and commercially minded Marketing Communications Manager to help shape and deliver the next chapter of BellaSeno's brand, communications and market presence. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and offers significant ownership of how our story is presented to different audiences.
You will turn complex scientific, clinical and technical concepts into compelling, accurate content; lead the day-to-day editorial and communications programme; and coordinate integrated campaigns across digital, media, events and stakeholder channels. You will operate with initiative and sound judgement, working collaboratively across internal functions and external partners as the business evolves.
Success in this role means a distinctive and consistent brand narrative; a well-planned content and PR programme aligned with clinical, company and commercial milestones; and accurate, engaging resources for healthcare professionals, patients, partners and wider audiences.
What you will do
Translate commercial priorities into an integrated marketing communications plan, with clear audiences, objectives, timelines and deliverables.
Champion BellaSeno's brand identity and messaging, creating editorial themes that communicate our technology, research and progress with credibility.
Own the editorial calendar and commission, create, edit and publish content across the website, social media, newsletters, presentations, brochures and educational resources.
Lead copy development for corporate storytelling, product communications, scientific explainers, interviews and video or animation scripts.
Coordinate website and digital content updates, supporting audience journeys, content discovery, email activity and performance improvement.
Plan and deliver communications around scientific milestones, events, company developments, collaborations and other newsworthy opportunities.
Prepare media and internal communication materials, key messages, announcements and spokesperson briefs; coordinate external communications partners.
Translate complex medical and engineering information into clear professional and patient communications, including approved research materials and trial-related resources.
Support product and commercial readiness through launch communications, professional education content and practical field-facing materials as programmes progress.
Lead communications delivery for conferences, professional events and company milestones, coordinating briefs, suppliers, budgets as assigned, materials and content capture.
Track campaign and channel performance, report meaningful outcomes and recommend improvements based on audience response and business priorities.
Coordinate scientific, clinical, regulatory and other authorised reviews before publication; maintain version control and approved source materials.
Apply careful judgement to medical-device claims, investigational status, privacy, patient content and jurisdiction-specific communication requirements.
What you will bring
Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling ability, with the confidence to simplify complex information without losing its scientific meaning.
A strong understanding of brand positioning, integrated communications and the connection between awareness, engagement and commercial objectives.
Demonstrated experience planning and delivering communications across digital, social, PR and content channels, from concept through publication.
Excellent organisation and project ownership, with the ability to manage stakeholders, external partners, priorities and deadlines independently.
Sound commercial judgement, creativity, attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and technical experts, including an understanding of when specialist approvals are required.
Your experience
The successful candidate will ideally bring:
Ideally five or more years of experience in marketing communications, brand, content, public relations or a closely related role, including responsibility for delivering integrated initiatives.
Experience in MedTech, healthcare, life sciences or another technical or regulated sector is highly regarded; strong candidates from other complex industries are also encouraged.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline are desirable.
Highly regarded
Experience with scientific or clinical communications, healthcare professional education, patient information or research-related content.
Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing, CRM, social scheduling, analytics and digital publishing tools.
Experience coordinating PR agencies, video or creative production, medical conferences or international communications programmes.
Help shape how an emerging global regenerative MedTech company communicates its technology, science and progress. This is a role with meaningful ownership, broad exposure and the opportunity to build foundations while delivering impactful communications.
The position provides the opportunity to collaborate with scientific, clinical and commercial stakeholders across Australia and Europe, taking meaningful ownership of communications during an important phase of BellaSeno's development.
Please note: Remote working within Australia, with occasional interstate and international travel land some early-morning or evening collaboration across time zones. Flexibility in start and finish times will be discussed
