The predicted salary is between 40 - 40 $ per hour.
Based at our Torrington depot, you’ll complete regular trips to Brisbane as well as delivery to farm and feed mills across the region, returning to Toowoomba each day. It’s an opportunity to earn well, enjoy consistent work and maintain time for life outside the truck.
Working closely with our operations and warehouse teams, you will:
- Safely transport and deliver feed ingredients and rural products.
- Coordinate loading and unloading, checking products, quantities and load restraint.
- Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and work records.
- Follow fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility and farm biosecurity requirements.
- Provide friendly, professional service and build strong customer relationships.
What you’ll bring:
- A current MC driver license and relevant heavy vehicle driving experience.
- Sound skills in load restraint, vehicle checks and safe loading and unloading.
- A practical understanding of fatigue management and transport safety requirements.
- A reliable approach, clear communication and pride in looking after customers and equipment.
- A commitment to teamwork, safety and getting the job done properly.
- Rural transport or agricultural experience and a forklift license will be highly regarded.
We offer permanent full-time employment, a $40 per hour base rate plus superannuation and guaranteed paid overtime, and regular runs that bring you back to Toowoomba daily.
