We are seeking to engage the services of an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Branch/State Manager to join our team based in Laverton North, Victoria. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, in this pivotal role you will be responsible for:
- Managing the branch operations, including employees, inventory, workflows and business partner relationships.
- Demonstrating the technical features and advantages of products to new and existing customers.
- Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with business owners, tyre retailers and material handling companies.
- Implementing national and state objectives.
- Developing business plans to increase profitability and share of market.
- Mentoring and steering a medium-sized Sales, Service and Warehousing Team.
The good news is, the incumbent for this role will be staying within the business, so a full and detailed handover will be possible. To ensure a smooth transition, you will possess the following key attributes:
- Previous experience within the tyre industry, particularly Industrial & Construction, will be a distinct advantage but not necessary.
- Previous experience managing & mentoring operational/sales teams.
- A strong business aptitude.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A willingness and desire for continuous learning.
