Beacon Lighting Commercial is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Residential Lighting Designer to join our team at our Osborne Park office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing Australian business and play an important role in delivering creative and practical lighting solutions to our volume residential building clients across Perth.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday, with no weekend work required. You’ll enjoy an attractive salary package, performance-based incentives, paid birthday leave, wellbeing days, generous team member discounts and on-site parking.
THE ROLE
- Working closely with our Commercial Sales team, you’ll work directly with builders’ clients to create lighting plans and provide expert advice, ensuring customers receive a professional and personalized service.
- Read and interpret architectural and electrical plans.
- Create lighting designs that meet customer requirements.
- Select and specify appropriate products and placement solutions.
- Provide expert lighting advice and customer service.
- Prepare quotes and orders accurately.
- Respond to customer enquiries and follow up consultations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Complete relevant administration and reporting requirements.
ABOUT YOU
- To be successful in this role, you’ll be a customer-focused and organised professional with an interest in lighting and design.
- Experience in lighting, electrical, interior or lighting design will be highly regarded.
- Ability to read and interpret house plans.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using computers and learning new systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, energetic and collaborative approach.
