BeA Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Workshop Service Technician to join our team at our Huntingwood, NSW facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment faults using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Repairing and replacing faulty components, parts and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conducting inspections and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Documenting all service work completed, including time spent, parts used and findings in CRM system.
- Liaising with customers if needed to explain issues, repairs undertaken and provide advice on equipment care.
- Maintaining service workshop and ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and organised.
- Following health and safety procedures and complying with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Assisting in training and mentoring where required in a technical aspect of BeA tools.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience working as a service technician or in a similar technical maintenance role.
- Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems, diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varied conditions and environments.
- High standards of safety awareness and commitment to workplace compliance.
Preferred: experience with specific equipment types relevant to our industry or previous customer service experience, all industries and experience will be considered.
