BCI is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Bus Sales Executive to join our Queensland team, based at our Oxley dealership in Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in sales within the bus and commercial vehicle industry. Working closely with and reporting to the Queensland State Manager, you will help support and grow BCI’s customer base throughout Queensland.
The Role
You will work alongside the State Manager to develop your knowledge of BCI’s products, customers and the Queensland bus market, while gradually building your own customer relationships and sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the State Manager with bus sales activities across Queensland
Building relationships with existing and prospective customers
Following up customer enquiries and sales opportunities
Assisting with quotations, proposals and customer presentations
Prospecting for new customers and identifying new business opportunities
Learning BCI’s bus product range and becoming confident presenting products to customers
Maintaining regular contact with customers and providing professional follow-up
Working with BCI’s service, parts and technical teams to support customers
Attending customer visits, industry events and trade shows
Travelling throughout Queensland as required
About You
Previous bus industry experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn and build a career in sales.
You will ideally have:
Some experience in sales, customer service, automotive, transport or a similar environment
A genuine interest in vehicles, transport or the bus and coach industry
Strong communication and people skills
Confidence speaking with customers and developing new relationships
A positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude
Good organisational and follow-up skills
A willingness to learn and develop your sales skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A willingness to travel throughout Queensland
