The Specialist Pain Medicine Physician will be part of an integrated Pain consultation-liaison service and will be running an outpatient session at The Mornington Centre/Peninsula University Hospital.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Provide high quality evidence-based clinical care.
- Promote the delivery of excellence in patient care in collaboration with other specialty services and General Practitioners in the community.
- Be aware of and work in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Contribute to training of Pain Fellow at Peninsula Health.
- Participate in clinical risk, quality and research activities within the unit.
- Promote high standards of educational support for all team members.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Must hold MBBS or equivalent.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrating excellent interpersonal relationship building skills.
- Proven ability to implement change within a complex environment.
