About the Role

We're seeking a senior family lawyer with 4+ years' PAE to take ownership of a diverse mix of family law matters. This is a permanent role (part-time or full-time) reporting directly to the Principal. You'll enjoy autonomy, support, and variety in a firm that values both people and performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own family law matters end-to-end

• Provide strategic legal advice and empathetic client support

• Represent clients in negotiation, mediation and court

• Draft legal correspondence, agreements, and court documents

• Contribute to business development, networking and digital content

• Collaborate with a small, capable team and referral partners

What You Bring

• 4+ years PAE with a strong family law focus

• Admitted to practice in Australia

• Strong communication and drafting skills

• Confidence to work independently and proactively

• Interest in alternative fee models (we don't use time sheets!)

• Drive, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset
