Sporties Barooga is looking for a friendly, engaging, and customer-focused Gaming Host to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Gaming Host, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. This role is about much more than monitoring the gaming area — it’s about building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and making our members feel valued.
About the Role
Working as part of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of customer service within our gaming area while ensuring all gaming and club procedures are followed:
- Welcoming and engaging with members and guests
- Building positive relationships with regular members
- Providing food and beverage service to gaming patrons
- Monitoring the gaming room and ensuring it remains clean, safe, and welcoming
- Assisting with the smooth operation of the gaming area
- Following all gaming, responsible service, safety, and club procedures
- Promoting a positive and enjoyable member experience
- Working collaboratively with the wider Sporties team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoys working with people
- Confident communicating with a wide range of customers
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Able to build and maintain positive relationships with members
- Previous gaming, hospitality, or customer service experience is highly regarded
Must have:
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- Current RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling)
- Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
