We are actively seeking an experienced Underground Mining Project Manager who is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey and join us in our USA Operations on a residential basis.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you will play a critical leadership role, taking full accountability for the operational, financial, safety, and environmental performance of the project.

You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, strengthening client relationships, and delivering outstanding project outcomes while maintaining Barminco's unwavering commitment to safety.

What You'll Bring

Ideally qualified in Mining Engineering, you will have a proven track record of successfully managing underground contract mining operations and leading teams in complex, high-performing environments.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Extensive knowledge of underground mining methods, equipment, and operational best practices.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to inspire, develop, and manage diverse teams.
• Sound commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Experience managing underground mining contracts and delivering against key business objectives.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• A solid understanding of contractual obligations and commercial agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• A visible commitment to safety leadership and fostering a positive safety culture.

All applicants must have the following to satisfy visa requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated underground industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years managing and executing high productivity underground Mining Contracts
• Clear Federal Police clearance
