About the role: BaptistCare Kintyre Lodge is seeking experienced Catering Assistants with meal preparation and service delivery during mealtimes. All meals are cooked fresh onsite by our professional catering team, with a variety of nutritionally balanced menu options available each day. We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $27.77 - $29.98/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.
As a Kitchen Hand/Catering, your duties will include:
- Serve food and beverages
- Take orders and operate POS and EFTPOS systems (if applicable)
- Assist with food preparation and reheating meals
- Ensure meals are delivered correctly and on time
- Cater to dietary requirements and follow the site Food Safety Program
About You:
- Experience working with food and cleaning chemicals
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure with empathy and patience
