About the Role: Our new 130 bed Griffith Centre in Canberra is conveniently located near the CBD, Lake Burley Griffin, shopping precincts and local parks. This energy efficient and environmentally sustainable building has been designed to ensure we can meet the care needs of the local community now and into the future. BaptistCare Griffith is an innovative and modern looking facility, built to cater for people with low care, high care and dementia care needs. All our rooms feature ensuites, the facility also offers extra services. As a Cleaner, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our Residential Aged Care facility by ensuring that all areas are clean, sanitary, and safe for our residents. We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $27.77 - $31.36/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.
Duties include:
- Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff spaces
- Follow cleaning schedules and policies, completing documentation as required
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
About You: Previous experience in cleaning and using chemicals. Ability to work independently and under limited supervision. Strong time management and communication skills.
