We are seeking an Experienced Lead Educator (Diploma Qualified) to join our dynamic team at Bambini Early Learning located in Hampton. This permanent, full-time role is pivotal in shaping the educational experiences of our learners. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, ensuring that our educational standards are met and exceeded.
About the role
- As Lead Educator, you'll take ownership of your room's program and daily rhythm, building genuine relationships with children and families while leading and supporting your co-educators.
- Design and deliver an engaging, play-based program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Observe, document and assess children's learning to inform planning and share progress with families.
- Lead, mentor and support your room team, modelling best practice every day.
- Build warm, respectful partnerships with families and communicate openly about their child's development.
- Ensure the room meets National Quality Standard (NQS) requirements and maintains a safe, healthy, welcoming environment.
- Contribute to the centre's continuous improvement and positive team culture.
About you
- You're an experienced educator who leads with warmth and knows what great practice looks like.
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved) as a minimum.
- Demonstrated experience as a Lead or Room Leader in a long day care setting.
- Strong working knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and relevant regulations.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for children's learning and wellbeing.
- Current Police Check.
- National Child Safety Training – Foundation & Advanced Modules.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
