Bakers Delight is coming to Chelsea Heights, and we're looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking people to join our brand-new team!
With multiple Casual and Part-Time positions available, this is a fantastic opportunity to join us from the very beginning and help build a successful bakery that becomes part of the local community.
We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy working with customers, take pride in their work and love being part of a supportive, energetic team.

About the role
As a Bakers Delight Sales Assistant, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional, friendly customer service with a smile!
- Creating a welcoming experience for every customer
- Merchandising and presenting our freshly baked products
- Promoting new products, specials and campaigns
- Cash handling and operating our point-of-sale system
- Maintaining high standards of bakery presentation and cleanliness
- Working together with your teammates to keep the bakery running smoothly
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- A friendly, outgoing personality and a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Pride in your personal presentation and attention to detail
- The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A reliable, punctual and team-focused approach
- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
- Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
Weekday daytime availability is highly desirable, with opportunities also available for early mornings, evenings and weekends.
