We currently have an exciting opportunity available for Maintenance Fitter at our Cardiff Feed Mill, offering a great chance to join our team and contribute to plant operations and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Help redirect production ideas to get around breakdowns or mechanical stoppages
- Stocktake of spare parts and advise Supervisor if required
- Maintain maintenance records
- Diagnose, fault find and repair equipment
- Perform maintenance work including replacement of parts
- Any other tasks relevant to the role
Skills Required
- Maintenance Fitter Experience
- Previous experience in feedmilling processes and equipment (highly desirable)
- Ability to give instruction when required
- Ability to work within a team
- High level planning and organisational skills
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and preventative maintenance
- Ability to complete own work with limited supervision
Desirable Qualifications
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and heights
- Working at Heights Ticket
