We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of construction projects from commencement through to completion. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving project programs, commercial outcomes, quality, safety and stakeholder relationships while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to a high standard. You’ll lead and develop the project team while proactively managing risks, opportunities and competing project priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead projects from construction commencement through to completion and handover
- Develop, maintain and monitor project programs, milestones and delivery priorities
- Manage project budgets, procurement, cost reporting and commercial outcomes
- Lead subcontractor and supplier procurement, negotiations and contract administration
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, opportunities and potential delays
- Ensure projects meet quality, WHS, environmental, contractual and statutory requirements
- Manage variations, extensions of time, progress claims and contractual obligations
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders
- Lead, mentor and develop project team members, fostering accountability and high performance
- Oversee defects, commissioning, handover and project close-out
- Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned to strengthen future project delivery
About You
- You’ll be an experienced construction professional who combines strong project delivery capability with commercial acumen, leadership and the ability to confidently manage multiple stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Property Development or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience across the end-to-end construction project lifecycle
- Experience leading, managing and mentoring project teams
- Strong understanding of construction processes, programming, procurement and commercial management
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against project deadlines
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify risks and opportunities
Highly Desirable:
- Previous experience delivering modular construction projects is highly regarded
- Experience working within a fast-paced construction or property development environment
- Strong understanding of project financials, cost reporting and forecasting
