Azora is a fast growing non-bank lender specialising in commercial asset finance, consumer car loans and home loans. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Collections Manager to join our Commercial Asset Finance (AF) team.
Your Responsibilities | How you will make a difference
- Lead the AF Collections strategy
- Manage and direct the daily activities of the AF collections team
- Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, contact customers and make suitable arrangements for repayment of arrears in order to reduce delinquency and minimise losses.
- Proactively manage the national network of external suppliers (e.g. Law Firms, Mercantile Agents, Property Managers and Auction Houses etc.) to effectively manage portfolio and enforcement matters
- Contribute to monthly collections committee forum
- Lead collections & arrears management projects & campaigns
Your Skills & Experience | A little bit about you…
- 3-5 years in debt collections team leader or management role
- Working knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulatory guides i.e. Privacy Act, AML/CTF and Debt Collection Guidelines
- A commercial, outside-the-box thinker with elite decision making
- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- A captivating leader who champions for their team and leads from the front
