ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with the Head of Tax to deliver rigorous tax framework for a thriving business at an exciting time in their journey. The role will afford the ideal candidate with a broad scoping tax role. You will get exposure across GST, group tax provisioning, income tax compliance, transfer pricing and M&A. A key part of the role is helping build tax capability in-house and so there is real scope to become the team’s subject‑matter expert in an area that interests you.
DUTIES
- Prepare tax returns, including corporate income tax, GST, FBT and tax support across various global regions
- Assist with group tax provisioning, including year-end
- Support year-end transfer pricing and intercompany journals
- Support Australian compliance alongside external advisors
- Help roll out tax provisioning software and automate processes
- Strengthen tax risk and governance as the business scales
- Advise on transactions and ad hoc projects
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- CA or CPA qualified
- 3-5 years of tax experience, in practice or commercial
- Big 4/Mid tier/Business Services first mover
- Solid understanding of tax fundamentals
- Transfer pricing exposure would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills
