About the Role
You’ll be working on a range of civil and commercial projects across Townsville, contributing to the delivery of quality infrastructure throughout the region.
Depending on your experience, duties may include
- Formwork setup and installation
- Steel fixing and reinforcement
- Concrete placement, screeding and finishing
- Kerb, channel, pavement, wall and slab construction
- Reading and interpreting plans
- Operating hand and power tools
- Site preparation and general labouring duties
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Experience in concrete, civil, construction or precast environments
- White card (essential)
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors
Highly Regarded
- Civil construction experience
- Concrete finishing experience
- Formwork or steel fixing experience
- Machinery tickets and RII qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience for Leading Hand positions
