As a Senior Livestock Agent and Auctioneer in our Orange team, you will draft and pen livestock for sale, sell stock by auction at CTLX under ALPA’s usual terms and conditions, and grow a strong client base of livestock producers. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with strong communication skills, sound agricultural knowledge and the practical experience required to perform confidently in the role.

As part of the AWN Orange team, you will:
- Be heavily involved in saleyard operations and provide excellent service to our livestock clients
- Be experienced in drafting and penning sheep and cattle for sale
- Be experienced at auctioneering sheep and cattle
- Build relationships with key livestock producers and livestock purchasers in the region
- Support other AWN Livestock Agents as required
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Previous experience in livestock agency businesses
- A sound knowledge of agricultural practices in Australia
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Sound computer skills
