Avive is growing – and we’re looking for an Exercise Physiologist to grow with us.

About Avive Health

Avive Health is a private mental health provider established in 2021, delivering integrated inpatient and day programs. Clinician-led and trauma-informed, our services focus on continuity of care – supporting patients through assessment, treatment, and recovery within a structured, supportive clinical environment. As our Brisbane clinic continues to expand in response to strong community demand, we are growing our allied health team to support increasing inpatient and day program activity across Queensland.

We are now seeking Exercise Physiologists (casual, part-time or full-time) to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a genuine growth opportunity within a service that is scaling quickly, with new programs, increased capacity, and strong clinical demand. Whether you’re qualified or experienced in the mental health space or keen to step into our specialty areas with the right support, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

You will deliver tailored, evidence-based exercise and movement interventions that support mental health recovery across inpatient and day programs. Working closely with psychiatrists, nursing, and allied health clinicians, you will play a key role in improving physical wellbeing, functional recovery, and overall patient outcomes.

Why Join Avive?

  • Supportive, hands-on clinical leadership team
  • Rapidly growing service with genuine expansion and career development opportunities
  • Innovative, tech-enabled systems – less administration, more clinical time
  • Structured onboarding and orientation so you can confidently step into the role
  • Strong commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred care

What You Bring

  • Qualification as an Exercise Physiologist (or equivalent Sports Science/Sports Medicine background where applicable)
  • Experience or strong interest in mental health settings (inpatient experience highly regarded)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, person-centred approach to care
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Join Avive

If you’re an Exercise Physiologist looking to bring your expertise into a supportive and growing private mental health service, we’d love to hear from you. For more information, contact our Allied Health Team Leader at ************@avivehealth.com.au or visit www.avivehealth.com.au.
