Precast Panel Installer, Site Supervisor / lead Rigger Site and Riggers
Avacon Precast require a Site Supervisor/lead rigger as well as Riggers to join our team. We have over 12 months of continual work on our books for local work. We require keen enthusiastic Riggers to join our team. The right person will also get a ute and fuel allowance. This is offered as a casual position however we are keen to make this a full time position to the right candidate.
Above award and EBA wages apply. Candidates will be offered payment amounts based on experience in Precast installation and work ethic's, Intermediate and Advanced Riggers will be an advantage. EWP ticket preferred.
Role
Guide crane movements and provide comprehensive Rigging skills to install Precast Concrete panels.
Secure precast elements in place ensuring alignment, plumbing, leveling, temporary propping, grouting, and caulking of precast components according to engineering details.
Assist precast workshop if no site work required, guaranteeing min 40hrs/week.

1.1. Communication
- Lead daily site safety briefings (toolbox talks)
- Review precast shop drawings
- Guide and direct crane as required
- Install Precast panels in accordance with the code of Practice
- Direct site crews as required to install props, grout, connection plates etc.
- Attend and provide input at OH&S meetings.
