Leading Hand/Carpenter position with Autumn Group. The role involves supervising apprentices and other carpenters while performing a wide range of carpentry work across high end residential projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Instruct and supervise apprentices and other carpenters
- Manage subcontractors and check their work
- Manage inspections
- Site set-up including hoardings, floor protection and drop sheets
- Demolition and strip out
- Wall and floor framing
- Roof framing and roof truss installation
- Installing windows, doors, doorframes and associated components
- Lock up carpentry including sisalation, battens, cladding, fascia, eaves and bargeboards
- Ensure site is kept clean, safe and tidy
About you:
- Able to understand and work off plans and specifications
- White card
- Own suitable vehicle and tools
- Enjoy working in teams
- Report to Site Supervisor or Project Manager
- Follow company policies
- Willing to travel when required
