A full-time mechanic technician role in a large, high-volume automatic transmission workshop. The position offers great hours working 5 days a week, 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Remove/Refit Transmissions
- Replace mechatronic
- Replace clutches and DSG Clutches
- Repair or replace worn or faulty parts
- Valve body removal/refit
- Use job cards/repair orders
- Communicate with staff in the in-house remanufacturing facility to ensure efficient workflow
About you
- Must have an automotive mechanic background and technical knowledge
- Must hold Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent industry qualification with at least 3 years industry experience
- A valid driver's license
- Must have own tools
