The position involves building and improving the cloud platform that enables developers to deliver high-quality software for customers. You will operate within one of our collaborative squads inside the larger Cloud Platform team, each with a unique mission to design, build, and implement platform improvements while keeping tools and services running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Terraform modules and configurations to provision and manage Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources.
- Collaborating with application teams to build solutions that accelerate software delivery.
- Developing and managing build and deployment pipelines.
- Managing Kubernetes clusters, including provisioning, networking, monitoring, and upgrades.
- Supporting cloud operations and troubleshooting infrastructure issues alongside your team.
- Participating in incident response and post-incident analysis for cloud infrastructure issues.
- Staying current with industry practices and continuously improving team standards.
Essential Experience:
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in an enterprise environment.
- A solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and experience deploying applications to a cluster.
- Familiarity with observability concepts and tooling, such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or New Relic.
- A basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and cloud networking concepts like VPCs, subnets, and routing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
- A proactive approach to learning new tools, systems, and cloud concepts.
Desirable:
- AWS, Kubernetes, or similar cloud certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
