About the role
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. Based in Wollongong NSW, this position offers flexible work opportunities for individuals looking to contribute to maintaining pristine environments across our client sites.
What you'll be doing:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of various surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other facilities to maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental guidelines.
- Polish and maintain floors, windows, and other glass surfaces to a high standard.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning requirements and any issues.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a cleaning or similar custodial role, or willingness to undertake training.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy items.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly on a casual basis.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in cleaning operations.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment, or willingness to learn.
- A professional attitude and respect for client properties.
