Depending on the vacancy, you may work across one or more communication disciplines, including strategic communication, media, public relations, digital communication, content publishing, social media, advertising, events and multimedia production.

You will produce clear, accessible and audience-focused content. You’ll apply established communication, accessibility, publishing, branding, privacy and information-handling requirements. You will manage your assigned work, contribute to team outcomes and collaborate with colleagues and business partners. You will exercise judgement within your area of responsibility and seek advice on unfamiliar, sensitive or higher-risk matters. You will also contribute to monitoring and reporting activities, identify practical insights and support continuous improvement of communication products, channels and services.

We are committed to inclusive recruitment practices and encourage applications from people with disability or neurodivergence, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and individuals from all backgrounds. Reasonable adjustments can be provided throughout the selection process.

The key duties of the position include:

  • Drafting, editing and publishing clear, accurate, accessible and audience-focused content across different formats and channels.
  • Supporting the delivery of communication activities across one or more disciplines, audiences or channels.
  • Researching, gathering and organising information to support communication products and business outcomes.
  • Applying communication, accessibility, publishing, branding, privacy and information-handling requirements in their work.
  • Managing their workload, exercising sound judgement within established guidelines, maintaining quality and accuracy, and delivering work within agreed timeframes.
