Join a team supporting a global cold storage industry leader working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Pickers to join our client's dynamic cold chain distribution operation. About the Role:
As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking orders within a fast-paced distribution environment. Picking food products for supermarket stores, weight of items ranges from 4kg through to 20kg. Your duties will include:
- Voice picking using blue tooth headset
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Working in chiller (4 degrees) and freezer (minus 28 degrees) environments
- Manual handling and moving products
- Operating electric pallet jack or forklifts where required
- Meeting overall performance targets
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements
Shifts:
- AM Shift: 5:00am start
- PM Shift: 1:30pm start
About You:
To be successful, you will have:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to work in cold/chiller and freezer environments
- Ability to safely lift and move products
- Ability and willingness to meet performance targets
- Strong reliability and attendance
- Ability to work 5 shifts per week, including one weekend shift as part of your roster
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Ability to pass a police background check
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol test
